One of the world’s busiest and most populated cities, Hong Kong is best-known for its stunning skyline with over 1,200 skyscrapers and its “East meets West” cultural mix. With architecture and interior design influenced by feng shui and modern technology, this city is truly unique.
Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting city and thematic tours, ranging from cuisine-oriented, to architecture or nature. The latter is particularly fascinating as Hong Kong has many amazing mountain landscapes, marine parks and the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island is only a ferry ride away.
Kowloon is a busy urban center near Victoria Harbor, where ferries are an excellent choice to see just how tall Hong Kong's buildings actually are. Excellent tax-free shopping can be found in high-class malls, boutiques and street markets.
Hong Kongs’ unique cultural fusion is clearly seen, tasted and heard in the local food, like dim sum from Maxim's Palace or hot pot from street vendors complimented local Cantopop music in the background.
Arriving at Hong Kong International Airport you’re only a short trip from the city center. Whether you’re staying in a chic hotel or a budget hostel, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for a holiday in Hong Kong.

Do some of the classic things and see the well known sights of Hong Kong. Then take time to research and explore away from the city itself. Lots of well maintained hiking trails. Beaches. Parks. Get out your walking shoes and spend time familiarizing yourself with the neighborhoods of Kowloon. New Territory has a lot to offer at a slower pace. You’ll find that Hong Kong is much more than business district and expensive malls. For an adventure and fun, just get off at a random subway stop and see what you find. Use public transportation…. MTR ..it’s fast and you can get almost anywhere. Get their app to help you plan routes.

The local people are very friendly.
The local people are very friendly. The food were great with many different cuisines to choose from. Food quality is superb in every price range. Government services are very efficient.
However, my wife and I had a terrible experience at CitiBank HK Wanchai branch. We felt cheated by the bank. I will escalate after I return home.

Hong Kong has changed a lot after covid.
Hong Kong has changed a lot after covid.
There's no night life as like before anymore.
I see much less expats, so many places close so early, the whole city looks dead after 11pm.
Those bar/club areas are completely dead.
and prices are higher than before (comparing when I used to live a few years ago). Even though it's a tax free country, I didn't fancy for shopping at all.
However, I sense streets are much cleaner now. And it should be nice to enjoy nature, hiking, beaches etc.

If you like city breaks then this is one of the best.
If you like city breaks then this is one of the best. It is very clean, with very little litter or graffiti present. But at the same time it feels 'real' with an edginess about it which appeals. Public transport is brilliant with great connectivity and is cheap to use.

The standard of the hotel seems to have deteriorated in the last few years. maintenance of some of the doors is poor with many looking dirty through constant use. Facilities in the swimming pool have also been reduced, and the bathing suit (hand spinning) dryers have disappeared (which is very useful when you are checking out for an international flight). Staff don't appear as engaged or as well trained as they were before the lockdowns.

We were in Hong Kong for 3 days total. It's such a fun city!
We were in Hong Kong for 3 days total. It's such a fun city! The public transport is all very easy. Getting a taxi is a nightmare. The food is SO good. We loved Happy Valley, Wan Chai & Central. We did an afternoon in Kowloon, which was chaos. I'd been wanting to go to Hong Kong for a while and it did not disappoint. I did expect more of it shopping wise. I wanted more fun little things, but there's just a lot of Western chains.
Great location in Wan Chai. Great entertainment is just around the corner, but room is quiet. Also, government offices just across the road, depending on what you fancy. Hotel appears well maintained, and room is recently renovated. Also, room is quite spacious for this location, bed is comfortable. The TV has lots of foreign channels (and believe me this is not common for Hong Kong hotels in this price range). A variety of great food options in the vicinity. Great value for money.
It's great value. The hotel was clean and comfy, even though the rooms themselves were small (but that's pretty standard all over Hong Kong).
The location isn't as bad as we thought, as there was a bus that gets you down to Central within 25min. The buses are generally on time, and they come every 15 min or so, so it was pretty easy. The area itself didn't have too much to do, but the boat houses nearby was a cool thing to check out while we were here.
The hotel is located at the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, walking distance to all transport facilities as well as malls and tourist spots (ie Kowloon Park, K11 Muses, The One etc)... Convenience rated Excellent. Room wise is average for HK standard for that price. Housekeeping is above average. Bed quality is average but one thing I like of my room is brightly lit from daylight. Some folks many not like it but suited me well. Overall "above average"experience.
The breakfast was really nice, a big buffet with both English and Chinese options. The hotel rooms are spacious and quiet, and get cleaned daily. The bathroom is clean, with very good water pressure. The staff is friendly.
The location is quite central on Hong Kong island, with an MTR station in walking distance, and Hong Kong's trams go through the street. I had a "city view" room. My corner windows offered great views across the Harbour.
The location was so strategic, close to the Wan Chai MTR. The family room is also quite spacious for 3 adults and room is clean. The lobby smells nice and the staff were helpful. Even though it was in a busy area with bars across the hotel but I barely heard anything, and the blackout blinds definitely got us to sleep longer. We stayed for 5 nights and I’d definitely consider Wharney Hotel again for my next visit to Hong Kong!
Place is 2 minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui metro station and is only a few minutes walk to many attractions like, Avenue of the stars, clock tower, star ferry and Kowloon park. Lots of places to eat around. Room was clean and they allowed to check in early. Price of room is very budget friendly. I had a flight in the evening and they allowed me to help me store my luggage so I could pick it up in the evening before my flight.
Room: The room at Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West dazzled with its elegant decor, panoramic city views through floor-to-ceiling windows, and a luxuriously comfortable bed, making it a serene urban retreat.
Location: Perfectly situated near Tsuen Wan West MTR station, Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West offers convenient access to Hong Kong's attractions, shopping, and dining, encapsulating the vibrant essence of the city.
The area is very lowkey and relaxed compared to a lot of Hong Kong. So if you're looking to be somewhat near downtown but still want some peace and quiet then it's a really good area. The food scene in the Fortress Hill area is really expansive and great, lots of hole in the walls to check out when you want to take a stroll in the evening. The room itself was good and hotel is pretty old-fashioned.
The breakfast was a little lacking for me. However since it was included in my price I don't really mind it too much. The location is also a little weaker because it's long traveling back into downtown Hong Kong but that's to be expected. It's also weird that the hotel is right around the food and store areas but stuck in the middle of like an industrial area with the restaurants across the river.
The location was conveniently as the hotel is centrally located in Tsim Sha Tsui. Whether it was getting to Tsim Sha Tsui Station and East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, walking to Kowloon Park or enjoying a stroll by the harbor, I found it easy to get around.
The shower is powerful and hot.
The size of the room was good for 1-2 people. The bed and pillows were fine.
The room is worth the price, very clean and has some views around the hotel. The room is very clean, the room is quite spacious. Around the hotel is Hong Kong's Tsim Sha Tsui area, near the subway station and there are many bus stops. Traveling to tourist attractions is convenient. The receptionist gave good advice for serving tourists.
If you want to visit the attractions in Lantau island along with central Hong Kong, this hotel is very well located. The free stuttle service makes it a perfect hotel. Both to/from airport to hotel and to metro station very well maintained.
Mainly the hotel location is very good centre point area. you can reach main market area within a walking distance especially Kowloon ferry, Tsim Sha Tsui and mainly famous Temple night market street.
Great location and easy access to MRT station. The staffs were very nice and helpful, hotel had hourly shuttle bus to key location in Kowloon side. Onsite self service laundry was convenient.
The location is good and you can walk around Kowloon quite easily from here. The Tsim Sha Tsui MTR (metro) station is also quite close so it's easy to get around. The room was decent size.
Customer service is very good. Staffs are very assistive. Convenient & accessible location. Hotel is very nice, comfortable and clean. Always a hotel to be for us when in Hong Kong.
Surrounded with very good places to eat, grocery and near the train station - all within walking distance. The 1 bedroom apartment was spacious enough for a hotel in Hong Kong.
The location of the hotel is very good, very close to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, and behind it is Kowloon Park. The room is clean and the staff is very friendly.
