Our 2 renovated charming houses in typical Cambodian style, feature 3 guest rooms, 1 of which is a large floor apartment. For de decoration we have chosen a cozy mixture of modern design fitting in well with the typical Khmer architecture. Because we are a small scaled enterprise, we are able to offer you our utmost service. We love to indulge our guests so that they can feel at home with us. Our houses are in a quite neighborhood, away from the crowds but still at a stone's throw from the entertainment center, including Pub Street and the Psah Chas Old Market. A tuktuk can take you in no time to the most important sightseeings of Siem Reap: the temples of Angkor. "TABLE D'HOTES": Literally translated as ‘table guests’. Under a shady pergola at the swimming pool you will be able to enjoy a continental breakfast, which varies every day. In the evening, if you wish so, and as part of the ‘table d’hôtes’ we will be able to serve you a combination of Western and Asian kitchen. We buy daily the best products in order to guarantee the freshness of our meals.
We are living in Siem Reap, Cambodge, since May 2016. After a journey of 6 months through South-East Asia, we both became enthusiastic and dreamed of making “once” the big step to go and live in warmer climes and start a new life….. The people, their way of living, the culture, scents and color… appeals to us and no matter how often you return, it always gives you a surprise in the positive way. But “once” became faster than foreseen! After being back in overcast Belgium for 3 months, we decided to go back to Cambodge looking for suitable premises to start our ‘chambres-table d’hôtes. After a while we discovered this house and it was love at first sight. We liked the colonial, typical wooden Khmer house and the beautiful garden with swimming pool. Why Cambodge?, well…..the hospitable and friendly people really stool our hearts. An additional asset to start our ‘table d’hôtes was the fact that Mieke finished cooking school. Cooking is her greatest passion and you will witness this advantage….
Siem Reap is an unmissable destination, particularly because of the impressive temple complex of Angkor Wat. Together we organise a fascinating program in order to enable you to spend your time at the maximum in and around our attractive city. The highlight of course is a visit to the world famous temples of Angkor Wat. But also make acquaintance with the authentic Cambodian rural life, a boat tour along the floating houses on the lake Tonle Sap or meet Cambodians in their daily activities to understand their culture better.
