My friends and I was stating this hotel together. The hotel is quite beautiful located next to the river. The hotel staff are above and beyond for services. I really appreciate their support during our stay. However, to make sure that you should bring enough cash in local currency, or US dollars to pay for the room rate. As there is a surcharge for use of credit card, which is quite normal in Laos. Their exchange rate is quite high compares to ATM.

I loved that it’s right along the river. It was a lot of charm. It’s nice sitting on the back deck and just enjoying the atmosphere. The rooms are also very nice. The one I stayed in even had a giant soaking tub. Lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They couldn’t have been any better.

Best location, just next to the river of Nam Khan. This is precious bc usually the hotels in Luang Prabang don’t have direct access to the river (in Mekong river area). Very beautiful and clean room with generous windows for better natural lightning. My room has the balcony and it was facing to the river, so cosy and relaxing to spend time there. The breakfast was simple but tasty and fulfilling. The staff was beyond amazing, they are so lovely and wonderful. From the start to end of my stay, they are so helpful, caring and attentive, they really ensured that I have a comfortable stay in Luang Prabang. They are also resourceful and provided me with a lot of information about the town. After checking out, they walked me to my taxi and for me it was a really kind and sweet gesture. Thank you so much, I will def miss you all. Totally recommend Moonlight Champa for amazing experience in Luang Prabang.

The hotel was in a location that was close to places but also quiet. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and our needs. They ran (really did run) out to get ice for us one night. They provided information and suggestions on what to do. Breakfast was great. The river was nice to sit by at breakfast. From the balcony in our room, we could hear and see the rowing team come by every night. That was really cool. We hollered down to them one night a d they hollered back. It was great. The A/C was wonderful, and the room was cute. Can't say enough good things about Moonlight Champa Riverside. Hated to leave, we wanted to take the staff home with us.

The views from the room and the deck were magnificient, the staff was unbelievably friendly, and it was within walking distance of all the greatest hits of Luang Prabang without being too "in the middle".
