Mysore is my favorite city in India: it feels rather quiet, spacious, clean and a good atmosphere.
There is good food, southern Indian is my fav’ nice coffee, the beautiful maharajah palace and beautiful architecture, add the holy Chamundi Hill, both for an aerial view of the city and worship of mother Durga

This listing is obviously in India.
This listing is obviously in India.
I can't understand why it's listed with Booking, com as Jugglers Rest in Picton.
It's most confusing!
When you ring the contact number it's in India and the person that answers is very hard to understand and barely speaks English.
Personally I don't think Booking.com should have the property listed at all

I arrived at mysore by train from Bangalore and didn’t get to my hotel til around 13:30. Hotellier kindly provided a map and marked on it local places of interest, thinking this would be too late to visit the palace I went to the aquarium. The best thing about it was the entrance - makes for great photos.
Walking (with the aid of good old google) I came across the palace and couldn’t resist going in. Just 100inr - same price for everyone. I didn’t have to queue for more than a few minutes for a ticket at that time of day but there were still orderly queues getting around inside. I had plenty of time before closing at 17:30 so I achieved my purpose for visiting mysore earlier than expected.
Shoes are not allowed inside the palace so I’d recommend socks as 10s of thousands of people visit every week. The sheer opulence of the palace is something I’ve not seen anywhere else. I didn’t stay for the daily palace light show as I was tired out but I understand it’s quite something.
It’s not somewhere you’d find fine dining but the hotel I stayed at had a restaurant very nearby.

GOOD PLACE TO VISIT.
GOOD PLACE TO VISIT. WE LIKED THESE PLACES SUCH AS CHAMUNDI TEMPLE, MYSORE PALACE, ZOO, VRUNDAVAN GARDEN, MIRROR MAZE AND DEVARAJA MARKET. THE WORST PLACE IS WE HAVE VISITED DOMAINE SULA WHICH WAS ON THE WAY FROM BANGALORE TO MYSORE.

This was the best place for me when it comes to our South Indian trip. The food was good hotels were reasonable compared to Madurai and Bangalore. There were lots of amazing places to visit but bit of planning is required. There is one week day some of these places are closed eg. zoo is closed on Tuesdays. Better visit the respective sites and know the details.
Major disappointment for us was the Mysuru Palace light show was not there due to repairs and they even didn’t say that in the website
The Room size is so big (bigger than i expected). The Bed is comfort and cozy. The Bathroom is so big with bath tub that separate from the shower (this is so good). But there's no slipper in the room (if you can add in the amenities will be perfect). The Staffs are very polite, service-minded and friendly e.g. the reception, the housekeeper or even the guard at the front gate of the hotel etc. Highly recommend to stay in Mysore. I will definitely come back to stay here again. The breakfast is ok (not much variety but good enough to eat).
The location of this property is exceptional. It is absolutely peaceful and safe. It is just beside the road adjacent to Jaganmohan Palace right side boundary wall. One can view the palace from room. There are restaurant (Aashirvad & Maitri) just 100 mtrs away (walkable) from the property.
The property is at a prime location where you can visit the nearby center market or Mysore palace by walk itself and all are within 3kms. Auto charges around Rs. 30 to palace and Rs. 40 to Cauvery Emporioum (govt store) for authentic products.
We drove down to Mysore and reached late at 11pm, but our hosts were awake to ensure they hand over the keys and welcome us. We had our own car, but the location is close to the main road and you can easily get autos and public transport as well.
The hosts Mr. Hari and Mrs. Vidya were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. They ensured that our stay was comfortable and gave us insights into Mysore and cultural happenings. After staying a week with them they felt like an extension of our family.
This place is the perfect fusion between price and comfort. The hotel is located nearby the Mysore Palace (15 minute walk) and most of the other sights are also a short drive away. The room is comfortable and the shower is great. I have to highlight the staff, including Mahesh and the security man (which I sadly don’t remember the name), they helped me so much with the bags and tuk-tuks! I’d definitely stay here again.
Kaveri Hotel Bed and breakfast is a very nice, quiet hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and have made us feel truly welcome. "Kaveri" means "friend" in Finnish language, and it is very well suited to this place. Good breakfast, dinner available, clean room.
The hotel is situated at an easy walking distance from Mysore Palace. Rickshaws are easy to get.
They have the friendliest staff ever! The receptionist, security man and I think Ali was his name, who brought us to our room - all are so amazing. We had a look at different rooms before we chose this hotel. Trust me this is the best room you can get in Mysore! Location is also great at a main road leading to the market and the other sights.
It was an excellent trip in Mysore. We enjoyed our stay at KSTDC mayura hotel. Great hospitality and service provided and especially thanks to the Manager who supported us for the early check in process and accommodated the rooms for our entire team.😊
Thanks and regards ,
Sundaram
Overall a nicer hotel than I expected. Although we didn't use the outdoor swimming pool we enjoyed reading outside in the garden area away from traffic noise. Convenient location: walking distance to train station. About 100 or 150 INR by rickshaw to Mysore Palace.
Sorry my experience with tis hotel already posted
But by mistake it has been posted as Karippals in

My bitter experience shared... when I stayed @Log Sagar Mysore
Thank you
The rooms were well maintained. The check in and check out process was very much smooth. Ms Amisha from reception was very much helpful . I highly recommend this hotel anyone who visit Mysore
Cleanliness and ambience of the hotel and its reachability from Mysore palace. Location of the hotel is almost close to center. All shopping and tourist places are in reachable distance.
Complimentary breakfast was provided, but the same menu was repeated every day. The hotel is at a prime location and it is easily accessible via road transport.
