Update July 2016: I made it to Florence! Actually, since May of 2016 I have been back 3 times! I just can’t seem to stay away from this amazing city. It is everything I had ever dreamed of and more. If you’re visiting, check out my articles on where to go for great views across Florence and how to beat the crowds at the Duomo complex. I’m sure you saw this coming. How could I possibly not be dying to visit the place I was named after? I loved what (little) I saw of

We as individuals are constantly evolving and learning more about ourselves. The past year for me has been especially eye-opening and I’ve learned a lot about who I am, what I want and what’s important to me. Yoga, funnily enough, was one driving force in that process. While my alcohol consumption has not diminished significantly, if you ask any of my friends and family they will tell you that I’m not the same person as I was a year ago. I used to think yoga was for hippy dippy people

Oh, Havana nights! It’s too bad it reminds me of one of the all time worst movies ever made, but what I wouldn’t do to walk through the old streets of Havana, take in all the rich culture and sip on mojito after mojito. There comes a time when you’re in your mid-late teens or early twenties when you decide you want to travel more with friends and partners, and in turn that often translates into spending less time traveling with your family. For me, this happened after the first year of college when I was about 19. I had worked over summer and also for about 8 months before moving to Melbourne

This week, I’ve chosen to daydream about Cappadocia. I am by no means a fan of heights, but the first chance I get, I’m going to hop on one of those hot air balloons. The panoramic view of dozens of hot air balloons is breathtaking, and the unique topography of fairy castles and valleys is unlike any other. Heading to Turkey and need some ideas for other must-visit places? Check out this article. What is Wanderlust Wednesday? I’m sure every wanderluster out there has a list of places they’re aching

I try to practice every day but it’s not always possible (especially if you had five glasses of pinot grigio the night before). It can be even harder when you’re traveling and you’re meeting up with friends, stuffing your face with local cuisines and enjoying a few mojitos. If you’re anything like me, you enjoy teacher-led classes and trying out new yoga studios and teaching styles, and are too lazy to pack your own yoga mat. Here are some tips from my own personal experience of finding places to practice

I’m sure every wanderluster out there has a list of places they’re aching to see and experience. Every Wednesday, I will curate and post a few photos of the places on my travel bucket list from talented Instagrammers. Hopefully it will keep me motivated to get to these wondrous places sooner, rather than later, and inspire you to visit these places as well. A big thank you to the Instagrammers below who were kind enough to let me share their photos! I encourage you to take a look at the
